Club Purpose
As the first IADC chapter in all of Australia, we hope to:
- Increase student awareness of drilling in the oil and gas industry,
- Organise site visits including those to real operational oil/gas rigs,
- Provide networking opportunities to students from a variety of disciplines
including engineering, geology, science, commerce and information
technology,
- Give informative technical and non-technical presentations to aid in
student studies; and
- Promote new and exciting internship/graduate opportunities from realworld
companies.
